It was in 1898 that Cesar Ritz opened the hotel carrying his name in the Place Vendome in Paris which was to become a prestigious gathering place for some of the worlds most influential people. The Champagne served daily bears the name Champagne Ritz; typifying the French art of living, a pursuit of elegance and perfection; a Champagne drunk by those who appreciate the very best in life.

<FONT size=2> <P>Cuvee Katarina's specially shaped bottle embellished with soft ribbed curves is reminiscent of the precious bottles displayed in the elegant European Boudoirs at the time. Cuvee Katarina has all the elegance and personality one would expect of a Special Cuvee which has been blended from the wines of several harvests and aged in bottle in our cellars for more than six years. It is the ultimate expression of the art of blending. It is a blend of two thirds Pinot Noir and Meunier from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallee de la Marne and one third Premier Cru Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery.</P><FONT size=2> <P>Intensely gold in colour, this wine's mousse gives rise to a stream of fine elegant bubbles. On the nose, elegant fruit aromas carry hints of beeswax and acacia flowers. The same notes follow through on a well rounded palate of good length, yet all the while an underlying gentle crispness imparts a feminine lift to this finely balanced wine.</P></FONT></FONT>

<FONT size=2><FONT size=2> <P>The flavours of grapefruit and lime open up on the palate, producing a lively and refreshing sensation, characteristic of the great Chardonnays.</P> <P>Cuvée Brut de Nominée </FONT>has a fresh, ripe citrus aroma with an overtone of freshly baked bread. Moving on to the taste of this execeptional Cuvée. The flavours of grapefruit and lime open up on the palate, producing a lively and refreshing sensation, characteristic of the great Chardonnays, and a finish that goes on and on. Balance, freshness and power are the essential qualities of the Cuvée Brut de Nominée.</P> <P>SERVING SUGGESTION</P> <P>The power and balance of the Cuvée Brut de Nominée makes it an ideal accompaniment to creamy white meat dishes, or with fish and seafood, even in quite elaborated recipes.
